Project Architect

SPGB Architects, LLC is a small, full-service architectural, planning and interior design firm located in Dublin, Ohio that specializes in the design of higher education, laboratory, and park facilities throughout Ohio.  We are seeking a Project Architect experienced with predesign, design and construction services.  We are looking for someone to develop professionally under our partnership’s mentoring to manage large projects and maintain client relationships.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader, communicator, and problem solver, and is self-motivated for professional success.  Candidates must be flexible to meet project deadlines and be willing to work throughout Ohio and, occasionally, in adjacent states.  They will be expected to conceive innovative solutions as well as coordinate technical details.  Immediate responsibilities will include programming assistance, design, construction documents, quality control, and in-office construction services.  Once acclimated, this person will also manage projects, staff and design standards.

Employment Requirements: Architectural registration is preferred, candidates actively working towards registration may be considered; writing and communication skills; demonstrated ability to produce fully detailed and fully coordinated construction documents with little or no supervision; Revit proficiency; specification writing; and cost estimating experience. Relevant project experience is preferred.
